Author Jake Bondi uses Brennen as an image for his readers to envision the story which takes place in the popular area of Boystown Chicago. Boystown author releases third season of “literary TV series”By David-Elijah Nahmod – May 21, 2015 Boystown, the heart of Chicago’s gay community, has been home to Jake Biondi for the past 20 years. It is there that the author has found inspiration for another season of his “literary TV series” by the same name.
According to Biondi, he’s encountered many colorful characters in the Chicago “gayborhoood,” many of which found their way into Boystown his fictional series, the third season of which was released May 1, 2015.

The Carrie Diaries - TV

The Carrie Diaries is a popular CW Television show about the cast of Sex In The City before it was Sex In The City. The show follows Carrie Bradshaw as a young teenager as she meets Miranda and the cast over time. In Season 2 Episode 10 Brennen plays the role of a Bartender. The scene was directed by Amy Heckerling, the director of Clueless. Now available on Hulu.

Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello make a guest appearance on NBC's Today Show to promote Magic Mike. Channing surprised Ann Curry and Al Roker in the flash mob style as a group of sexy stripping dancers took over Rockefeller Plaza.

Brennen has choreographed eight pieces for Slippery Rock University and three piece for SRU Dance Theatre Company. His 2012 piece titled “Fifty eighth and Tenth” focuses on the relationship between two strangers on the streets of New York City. The piece follows the dancers through their busy lives and the intersecting paths they take to become aquatinted. First premiered at Slippery Rock University in the 2011 Fall Adjudication Concert and was also performed in the SRU Dance Theatre Winter Dance Concert. The faculty selected this piece to represent The Department of Dance in the 2012 American College Dance Festival which was held at Penn State University. This piece will also travel throughout the Pittsburgh area including a performance for Lincoln Park Performing Arts High School and other performances.
